Projected Digital Image Competition Rules

General Projected Digital Image Competition Rules

  1. All Digital Image Files must received by the end of the Tuesday preceeding the competition.
    You must eMail them to competitions@seafordphotosoc.co.uk
  2. The eMail must contain only image(s) for one member.
  3. Not more than two digital image per person per competition or as decided by the Committee.
  4. All entries to be resized to a maximum of 1024 pixels wide by 768 pixels high.
  5. Digital files must be "jpg" format
  6. Digital Image files names must be named using the photographers name and image title separated with a '#'.
    For example
    'Tim King#Seven Sisters.jpg'
  7. Projected Digital Images may be used only once in a league competition but may be entered into specialist projected digital image competitions.
  8. Projected Digital Images must not be entered into any of the print competitions.

Projected Digital Image League

  1. The general Projected Digital Image rules apply.
  2. There will be three classes - Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.
  3. The eMail containing the images must have the class (Beg/Int/Adv) to which the photographer belongs.
  4. New members will decide in which class they wish to compete and must remain in that class for the season.
  5. Beginners and Intermediate classes achieving 90% or more must move to the next class in the following season.

Projected Digital Image Of The Year

  1. The general Projected Digital Image rules apply.
  2. All entries into this competition must have been entered into another Projected Digital Image competition during the current season.

Candid People Projected Digital Image

  1. The general Projected Digital Image rules apply.
  2. All entries should be of an unposed subject.

Abstract Projected Digital Image

  1. The general Projected Digital Image rules apply.
  2. The society's definition of "Abstract" is: the art of patterns or shapes and form and colour representing reality.

Transport Projected Digital Image

  1. The general Projected Digital Image rules apply.
  2. Entries should depict any form of transport.

Set Subject Projected Digital Image

  1. The general Projected Digital Image rules apply.
  2. The set subject selected by the committee for the 2010-2011 season is "Light".
