Print Competitions
During the Sept-May season, we run a number of print competitions for our members. The print competition dates for the 2011-2012 season can be found in the tables below. Please see the programme to find out how these fit into the overall event calendar for the season. Print rules can be found here.
The Print League is split into three "ability" levels ("beginner", "intermediate" and "advanced") and there is an award presented at each level. Each print is awarded a mark out of 20 by an independent judge. New members are free to choose which level at which they wish to participate, but will be "promoted" in the following season if they achieve a total of 90 marks out of the possible 100. There is also an award presented for the most improved beginner in the league.

Set-Subject Competitions
We also hold projected print competitions for set subjects, open to members of all abilities. There is also a "Print of the Year" competition which aims to select the best print from the combined league and set-subject competitions.
