27 June Ashdown Forest
Afternoon and evening “Pooh Bear” trip and of course to hear the
Nightjars A visit to some tearooms and then on to hear the Nightjars. They are heard in the evening so the best time will be 19:30-22.00 Nightjar means night-churr and males can be heard performing a prolonged churring call in the evening often perched on a prominent branch. Please bring a torch and insect repellent.

Just a brilliant day! Also to qualifiy for these rates, groups need to be prebooked and paid in advance, for tickets to be issued so that we don’t all have to arrive at the same time.
